Your pets on holiday

Eurovet Surgery in Peñiscola - Your pets on holiday

In spite of your pets’ cleanliness and their good education, they may not be welcome on your holiday resort. The Eurovet veterinary Clinic informs you : where can you bring your pets on holiday ?

I.    Your accommodations

Rentals, clubs, campsites

They can refuse the presence of your pets or ask for a deposit. Consult the internal rules to know the forbidden places (lawns, swimming pool, restoring, etc.) and the obligations (bonds) (vaccines, leash, identification, etc.). You will be kept held responsible for any or all damages caused by your animals.

Hotels and hosts’ houses

Every establishment decides on its policy of acceptance or not of pets. A deposit can be asked. Some people propose even a special menu! For holidays without stress, we advise you to place a diffuser of soothing pheromones in the room.

II. When you are going out

Amusement parks

For reasons of hygiene and safety, animals are forbidden in amusement parks, zoos, and aquariums. Certain parks propose in the entrance a kennel. Do not leave your pets in the car parked on the parking lot, even in the shade: it is quite dangerous!

Establishments generally tolerate their presence provided that they do not bother either the staff or customers. Teach your pets from their youngest age to remain quiet and not to move between your feet or in their carrier.

Access to pets is forbidden on most of the beaches. Sometimes access can be authorized but limited to a reserved space or at certain hours (early in the morning or late in the evening), which depends on the city where you stay. The zone of bathing is often forbidden to dogs. Of course, dogs must be necessarily kept on a lead. Plan bags for their waste.

National parks

To assure the tranquility of wild animals and herds, dogs are not permitted. Pets must be kept in the vehicle for the safety of all.
